2020 ARMCHAIR VIDEO TOURS
This year, we invited our sponsors to show case how their support of Gold Coast Open House connects with the buildings, places and spaces they inhabit, commission or facilitate through their businesses.
We have commissioned a range of video’s from a variety of local videographers to engage you, the residents of the Gold Coast in this dialogue about the value of architecture and design in our City. A virtual ‘Open House’ operating in 2020 circumstances!
The following armchair video tours offer perspectives in how design excellence contributes to a responsive, livable and sustainable city.

Heavily inspired by the architecture of Richard Neutra this dwelling is planned around a brief that asked for a reinterpretation of the way in which the clients had been living for the past 15 years in the area.
The sleek horizontal lines of the design are enriched by the warmth of timber, which is used on the exterior as cladding and screening elements and internally in the flooring, ceiling and cabinetry to provide an overall richness to each space.
